Highlights
This is an adapter that will fit Ridgid or DeWalt shop vacs with 1-7/8" hoses. It may fit other shop vacs with the same size hose but I haven't tried it. The EZDust system was born out of having a small 1 car garage shop and needing dust collection I could move around quickly. For the smaller tools (as opposed to the ones with 4" ports) I didn't want to spend the money on the expensive portable dust collectors (I'd rather put that into tools or wood) so I originally designed adapters for my small Ridgid shop vac and a couple of Festool tools I had. These have gone through several iterations and I continue to design adapters for more tools.
These are made of carbon fiber infused PETG plastic which will hold up to being dropped on a concrete floor. Each has 6 N52 magnets each with 9lbs pull force so they won't easily pull apart when moving a tool around but they're not too hard to pull apart when switching tools.
Note: the one shown here is blue but we no longer carry that, the standard color is now black.
