Gold Shark Tooth Earrings: 18k Plated Stainless Steel Studs

These minimalist shark tooth dangle stud earrings come in a beautiful box, ready to gift to an ocean lover... or to yourself!

Materials:
• Fossilized shark teeth found by me on the beaches of North Carolina
• High-quality 18K gold-plated stainless steel earring stud posts (ball is 4mm)
• Teeth are wire-wrapped with tarnish-resistant golden copper wire

Please note: These are made with stainless steel, but not 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, so I can’t confirm they’re hypoallergenic. They may contain small amounts of nickel or other alloys. I have very sensitive ears myself and tested them personally — they caused mild irritation for me. For that reason, I recommend these for those without metal sensitivities.

No two shark teeth will ever be alike. I do my best to pick shark teeth that are as similar as possible. These treasures have been tumbling around the ocean for millions of years, until they found you, so expect "perfect imperfections" in each tooth.

Jewelry Care:
These stud posts are made of high-quality stainless steel, so they won’t tarnish—even with water exposure. The shark teeth are wrapped with golden copper wire, which is labeled as non-tarnish, but like all metals, it may very slightly develop a patina over time. This isn’t guaranteed to happen - but I like to be 100% transparent- so if it does, the color will shift subtly from bright gold to a soft, warm copper—adding to the natural, boho-beachy charm of each piece.

To help your earrings stay beautiful for as long as possible, avoid wearing them in water or while sleeping, and store them in a dry place when not in use. While they’re technically waterproof due to the stainless steel and non-tarnish wire, a little extra care will keep them looking their best for years to come.
