Mushroom Mug: Porcelain Cup - Seconds

AhnasCeramics
5 out of 5 stars

Item highlights

  • Materials: Ceramic, Porcelain, Stoneware
  • Dimensions: Capacity: 13 Fluid ounces

Seller's description

✨ This is a discounted seconds piece — The mug has a complete exterior appearance and is food safe, but there is a slight invisible strain under the inner glaze of the mug. So it’s recommended for use as a decoration or flower vase etc.. (see the last photos).
This handmade porcelain mug features a delicate mushroom botanical design, making each piece one-of-a-kind. Perfect for garden flower bud vase, the cup is decorated with vibrant hand-painted woodland characters. The wrap-around design includes intense red poison mushrooms, with small strawberries growing in the grass, accented by fresh green ferns and leaves.
Each mug is carefully hand-built and decorated using Mishima (inlay) technique, then painted with underglazes before being finished with a glossy clear glaze. Because every detail is drawn and painted by hand—never decals or transfers—no two mugs are exactly alike.

• Size: 5.25” H x 3.5” D
• Capacity: Holds 13 oz +
• One-of-a-kind design, signed by artist
• Fired to 2232°F (cone 6) for durability

*As the process is completely hand crafted (not wheel thrown), there may be small imperfections such as not perfectly even or round like machined work.
**My artwork is hand painting design oriented and some have delicate sculptures added on the body. Repeated microwave use will degrade the beautiful designs and finish of the artwork
