I absolutely love the idea of a shoe slipper and I had fun crocheting this! This is my first attempt. I made a lot of errors and I know I can do better. My tension was a bit loose on the pink part. I also didn’t include the #10 (very fine/lace) crochet yarn/thread into the sole, because I felt it was unnecessary and it still worked out great without it. As for the sizing, I’m an 8.5, so I follow the instructions for the 8-9 size. I believe my tension made it run on loose side (for the pink part). So, hopefully next time I’ll make my tension tighter. If that doesn’t work, then I’ll go down a size. My older brother is my foot model in this photo. This slipper is my practice slipper since I wanted to make sure what it look like before making a pair for my cousin birthday gift. Overall, my brother loves it and also wants a pair.
