This cloak is ridiculously heavy...and it's AWESOME! I actually weighed it and it's 11.5 lbs. Honestly, it feels more like armor than a garment. If your looking for a little flouncy plaything to flit around in, you'll probably want to look elsewhere. I will say that it is a bit larger than I expected, and I'll probably make some minor alterations, but this cloak is worth every penny and then some.
