Historic John Walker & Sons Kilmarnock Whiskey Bottle 4/5 Quart-Collectors Piece

This is an authentic vintage John Walker & Sons Ltd. whisky bottle from Kilmarnock, Scotland, dating between 1935 and 1964.

Made of clear glass in the classic square shape, this bottle was produced for export to the U.S. after Prohibition. It features beautifully raised lettering on the front:
• John Walker & Sons Ltd / Kilmarnock / Scotland
• “4/5 QUART” (standard U.S. fifth size)
• The iconic phrase “FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE”, which was required on liquor bottles imported to the U.S. between 1935–1964.

The base is embossed with R8335 JW 5 UCB, indicating manufacture by United Glass Bottle Manufacturers in the UK. The top retains remnants of its original cap/tax strip.

✨ Condition: Very good vintage condition — no cracks or chips, clear embossing, some light wear and age marks as expected.
