Can I return items that have been Personalized?

While many of our stock Items can be returned, we do not accept returns or issue refunds on Personalized Items. If we have made an error in the order, we will certainly replace the item or make the order right! Please reach out to us and we will work with you to make sure you have the best product available.

Are Color Deviations, Blemishes in Item Finish and Wood Variations - Grain Patterns considered Defects?

Short answer is no. We are a hand made business that creates every item from scratch just for you. We do our best to take images from our past products to give you an idea of how your finished piece should look. With that said, no two pieces of wood are ever exactly the same, grain patterns and color tones will vary with every piece. In terms of our 3D Printing we have used the same supplier for our filament for going on four years. They have remained fairly consistent over this time. We have noticed on rare occasion the color is just a little off but it is extremely rare and if we catch it we obviously reprint so all pieces match! Also note every computer and camera is different so the item may look different on your device.

Do You do Completely Custom Projects?

Yes. During the slower months of the year (March-August) we will occasionally take commissioned projects that fit our skill level. Many of our current products actually began as a customer request that we later decided to make a permanent part of our product line. How accurate are your shipping estimates?

We tend to estimate on the long side of production timeframes to accommodate for high and low periods in our online sales. Because we sell on most major platforms (Etsy, Ebay, Walmart, Amazon and direct) we may appear to be slow on one, however our overall order volume is extremely high. In the case of most standard orders we tend to ship early... If when an order comes in, the ship by date is an issue, we will reach out immediately to give the customer possible options before proceeding. This typically only happens if I am extremely sick or on vacation - both of which are always displayed in our shop announcements. In 8 years of selling online we have never had a shipment go out after its assigned date with notice or approval!

Does the Customer Really have to Pay the Shipping to Return an Item?

Yes, unless there is a order issue due to our mistake (ie: wrong color of item sent or an engraving error on the item). As a small business shipping is one of our biggest expenses and we hope you can understand we simply do not have margins built in to handle regular returns. When consumers order and we have filled their order - we are now out of pocket the initial shipping no matter what happens going forward and hope that our customers can understand we can not afford to be spending even more money to get the item back. If we do it would force us to raise our prices to account for shipping of returns - which is not fair to every other customer.
