The hat looks great and seems well made. My head is just under 57cm and is more oval shaped (smaller side to side than front to back). I ordered size 57cm, and it fits just a little loose, and seems made for a more circular head. I'm sure size 56cm would have been too small. I'll try adding sizing foam straps. I haven't yet worn the hat in the rain to see how water resistant it is.
