I’m worried about the condition of buying a vintage item…

As long as you accept that a vintage piece may occasionally come with some age old wear and tear, you’re going to be just fine! We are always completely honest with our descriptions, and try to ensure we photograph pieces as accurately as possible, so do take time to read our descriptions and look at all of the images. If you have any other questions or concerns, just get in touch! You can also check our FAQ on how we determine the condition of our pieces.

I see that you are based in the U.K but I’m overseas! Can I speed up my delivery?!

We are more than happy to arrange faster postal or courier services for you, just get in touch and we will give you a quote. In order to keep our prices competitive, we do sadly need to charge for shipping.

How do you determine the condition of your vintage pieces?

We have come up with our own guide to help explain how we grade the condition of our Vintage pieces. (This may be very different to other Etsy sellers!) In an ideal world, we would never sell anything with any kind of damage, big or small - but most of our pieces have decades of life behind them, and this may be reflected in their condition. Excellent: Near perfect condition without scratches, and no chips or cracks. Very Good: There may be some slight scratches or minor signs of use, but no chips or cracks. Good: We think this item still looks great, but there will be signs of use and age. Occasionally there might be chips or cracks, but we will always be sure to point them out in our listing, and photography.

How will my Eclectic Eye purchase be packaged?

To try and be kinder to the environment, our packaging is repurposed, reused and recycled wherever possible. Our aim is that any single - use plastic or bubble wrap will be reused, rather than newly purchased - but we will of course, always do our best to ensure your purchases are safely and securely wrapped. In a nutshell - your parcel will probably not look very pretty when it arrives! Our packaging is functional to guarantee the safe delivery of your purchase, so sadly will not give you the photogenic 'unboxing' experience that you might have with a handcrafted Etsy purchase!

I see that you are based in the U.K but I’m overseas - how long might my order take to arrive?

We ship our overseas orders by British Royal Mail post - using their 'International Tracked' service. We feel that this is the best value service that we can offer for the price, as your purchase will trackable, and insured. Royal Mail advise the following delivery times for this service: Europe: 3 - 5 working days Worldwide: 5 - 7 working days If you would like a cheaper option, do get in touch - but please note that we will only be able to refund you up to £20 should there be any issue with delivery. If you would faster service, just get in touch and we will outline your options.

Vintage Italian Grey Marble Lamp Base with Ornate Metal Details.

Measurements are as follows ~
24cm height, 9cm diameter base

We love this Marble Table Lamp, it has a great 1970s aesthetic and is very much in line with pieces being reproduced by interior companies such as Soho Home.
Much like Onyx or Alabaster, this natural Marble stone, with its weight, smoothness and subtle variations in shades and tones is here contrasted with patterned metal detailing.
The lamp is in full working order, has been PAT tested, and is wired to a UK plug.
As always, we have picked this Italian marble lamp as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
