ELBERT BENJAMINE, AKA C. C. ZAIN, was born in 1882 and died in 1951. He was the founder of "The Brotherhood of Light" and its associated "Church of Light," the doctrines of which revolved mainly around Astrology and its relation to the Ancient Mystery Teachings.

Zain's "Ancient Egyptian Tarot" was originally called the "Authentic Egyptian Tarot" and was designed or at least conceived by Elbert Benjamine (AKA C. C. Zain) for his organization called The Brotherhood of Light, and later The Church of Light.

Today the Tarot cards themselves are very rare and hard to obtain.

This book contains various Church of Light Serials which illustrate this enigmatic Tarot and its proposed uses. As can be seen, there are also reproductions of the Egyptian Tarot dispersed throughout. The whole Tarot appears to be represented in the length of the book.

Note, as can be seen in the photos, the Serials are in some cases on clear white paper and in other cases (the majority) on dark brown "pulp" paper.
