Handmade Gelli Plate 1” Deli Paper Strips: Mixed Media Collage, Art Journals - 40 Pieces

Item highlights

  • Materials: acrylic paints, gelli plate, stencils, stamps, deli paper

Seller's description

This assortment of handmade papers is composed of 40 strips of deli paper. Each strip is usually about 1 inch wide and about 10 inches long though there may be one or two that are thinner than 1”. 40 unique strips are included in each bundle. I try to give an even assortment of colors - 5 each of purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. I make the paper using a Gelli plate and acrylic paints with stencils, rubber stamps and other items that I think would make an interesting pattern (for example, bubble wrap). I continue layering the paints until I’m satisfied with the result. All of the strips are made using card deli paper which is a very thin, almost tissue like, paper that is still quite sturdy. It works great on any surface often blending in with the surface to give your artwork a more smooth and fluid look. if you’ve never worked with deli paper it can be a bit tricky but it is well worth it in the end. With each assortment, I do not duplicate any two strips from the same paper so you will get a wide variety. They make an excellent addition to any art project. I am very selective in assembling the bundles and use only the strips that I find interesting. I use mostly bright, vibrant colors. The pictures displayed are a sample of what a pack looks like and may not be the exact strips you receive. They will be similar to what is shown in colors and patterns.
