All art in my shop is drawn by me, Jorey Hurley, printed and signed by me in my studio.

Can you make me a custom artwork?

In general, I no longer make custom artwork. However, I am happy to change hair and skin color on any artwork in the "Your Family" section of my shop. This is the only art customization I do and I don't charge for it. I want all families to be able to see themselves in my art. If you would like me to change hair and or skin color of the children of this piece, please include your request in the field for notes during checkout or message me after purchase. I will confirm before I make the change. Does not apply to dog fur color. Please note there are no returns on customized artwork.

Do you sell originals?

No. While I often sketch or explore other mediums for inspiration, the artwork as shown in my shop is ultimately a digital-first creative process with multiple prints that I make in my studio. For certain avid collectors, I have made a one-of-a-kind piece for which they will have the only print, but this is the rare exception. If you are interested in a one-of-a-kind print, please reach out to me directly.

Do you print custom sizes?

Yes, for unframed prints. If you'd like a custom size, please order the next size up, and that will be the price. For example if you'd like an 18x24 inch unframed print, you would order the 24x30 inch unframed print. Please provide the paper dimensions you want in the box for notes at checkout or message me after purchase. II'll confirm your customization when the order comes through and then re-size the image and trim down the paper to your specifications. Custom sizes cannot be returned (though we will replace if damaged in shipping). If you would like a print larger than 35x44 inches, please contact me directly and I can provide pricing and arrange to invoice you.

Does your art fit in standard frames?

Yes. The unframed 8x10 inch and 16x20 unframed prints are made to fit standard sized frame openings. Always best to check the dimensions of the specific frame that you are considering to make sure it will appear you intend. The dimensions of the print are edge-to-edge dimensions (e.g. an unframed 8x10 is an 8 inch by 10 inch piece of paper) and include a white border around the edge.

Do you have other frame colors?

No, I only use solid maple frames here in the studio (the wood frames shown in the listing photos). I love that they’re made from sustainably-farmed wood and that I can reliably ship them to arrive in pristine condition, ready-to-hang. I believe the work looks great in other frames as well, which is why you will see other frame colors in some of my photos. I recommend americanframe.com for custom framing and Room & Board for ready-made frames.

Do you sell digital downloads that I can print myself?

No. My shop only sells prints on museum-quality, cold press paper printed here in my studio. The only way my art is available digitally is for three specific pieces (Woman Swimming, Flowers in a Garden, Golden Gate Bridge) available on the Samsung Frame TV (not for printing). For all of my art I maintain the rights to reproduction and licensing of the work.

What if the art is damaged during shipping?

I will provide a replacement and will give you a prepaid return shipping label to send back the damaged piece.

What if the package is lost during shipping?

I can either refund you in full or I can send a replacement, whichever you prefer.

Can I hang the art in a bathroom or basement?

I print on museum quality cold press paper, which may curl in humid environments without adequate air conditioning. This can include rec rooms, screened porches, pool houses and other humid or indoor-outdoor spaces.

Original art hand-drawn by me, Jorey Hurley. Every art print is made in my studio and is signed by me before it ships to you.

Bring the quiet beauty of lake life into your home with my “Loon" on a lake art print. Inspired by a loon I spotted on the Merrimack River near my home in Massachusetts, this piece captures a solitary bird gliding across calm water—a simple moment that embodies the stillness and restorative power of time spent outdoors.

I created this artwork after watching the loon move effortlessly across the water, leaving only a gentle wake behind it. There was a sense of calm and self-possession in the way it traveled through the landscape, fully at home in its surroundings. Through a simplified composition and restrained palette, I wanted to capture that feeling of quiet observation and connection to nature.

With its clean lines and open composition, this print works beautifully as lake house wall art, loon artwork, or nature-inspired decor for a living room, bedroom, office, cabin, or waterfront home. Its minimalist style complements modern interiors while bringing a subtle reminder of the natural world indoors.

This artwork makes a thoughtful gift for bird lovers, lake house owners, canoeists, kayakers, wildlife enthusiasts, and anyone who treasures time spent on the water. It also pairs beautifully with other coastal and freshwater wildlife prints to create a peaceful gallery wall inspired by rivers, lakes, and wetlands.

Each print is personally signed and printed by me on museum-quality archival paper, ensuring rich color, crisp detail, and lasting quality.
