It was in 1928 that Félix Houlès and his son André settled in Paris, at 18 rue Saint-Nicolas, in the heart of Faubourg Saint-Antoine-then a traditional district for upholsterers, decorators and interior designers.

Suzanne and Pierre Houlès then turned the “small French company of the 1930s” into a company with an International dimension which they later passed on to their Children. Today, it is Philippe Houlès who is the passionate and enthusiastic president, aware of the world of decoration since a young age.
Originally solely a distributor of supplies for upholsterers, the Houlès company quickly specialized in the creation and edition of trimmings collections, a field in which it became a world-renowned leader.
