Antique Victorian Locket Necklace, Rose Gold Filled, Garnet Moon Star

This stunning antique rose gold filled locket dates to the Victorian era (circa - 1800s). This unusual shaped locket features amazing detail on the front. There is a Star of David Symbol near rhe top and a crescent moon with three garnet stones near the bottom. It opens from the back and features an area in which to place a keepsake photo. Original bezel frame and celluloid cover is still present.

It hangs from an ornate bail and is suspended from a long rose gold filled guard chain made up of little cubes.

*Condition:
In very good antique condition. Opens from the back and closes with a nice snap. Original bezel frame with glass cover is still present. There is some gold wear around the portion of the part that opens on the back. The back of the locket is plain. It does have some very minor surface scratches consistent with age of piece.
