Vintage 9ct Gold Blue Topaz East West Ring, Size 7, Edinburgh Hallmark, December Birthstone

Handsome vintage Scottish hallmarked solid 9 carat yellow gold solitaire ring with a large faceted vibrant blue topaz in an east-west bezel setting and openwork shoulders.

With substantial weight and a modernist design of a rectangular step-cut with parallel facets and bold link shoulders, this unique ring is suitable for both men and women.

The light passes beautifully through the stone, with the ridged appearance giving it a geometric masculine look.

Ideal gift for a November (topaz) or December (blue topaz) birthday, or 4th wedding anniversary as blue topaz is the traditional gemstone gift.

Very good pre-loved vintage condition. Minor signs of wear and marks on the gold on close inspection. The topaz has a couple of tiny light scratches, this would not be noticed by the naked eye.
