Customs & import charges (VS & Zwitserland) Will I have to pay customs fees or import tax?

Orders shipped to the United States and Switzerland are sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). All duties, taxes, and import handling fees are included in the shipping cost, so you will not be asked to pay any additional charges on delivery.

Why are shipping costs higher for some countries, and can my order be shipped as a gift?

Shipping rates for certain destinations include international courier delivery and may include import handling and local charges. This helps ensure smooth delivery without unexpected fees. All international orders are shipped with a commercial customs declaration, as required by law. Gift selections at checkout do not change customs treatment for international shipments.

What if I need the order before a certain date?

Please contact me before ordering if you have a specific deadline. Production and shipping times vary, and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. For custom orders intended for weddings or other special occasions, requests can only be accepted several months in advance (preferably 4–6 months).

What if my item is damaged during transport

Please contact me immediately after delivery and provide clear photos of the damaged packaging, the item inside the box, and close-up images of the damage. Items damaged during transport will be repaired or replaced where possible, once it is confirmed that the damage occurred in transit. Damage caused by wear, use, or incorrect care is not covered.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, returns are accepted. Items must be unworn, in original condition, and returned with all labels attached. For international orders, a return shipping label is provided to ensure safe transport and correct customs handling. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

High waist vintage style pants with pleated front in caramel brown 100% bio cotton corduroy. These vintage style trousers are made after original 1940s pattern. They have buttons on the inside of the waistband for braces or suspenders. The cotton corduroy has narrow ribs (21 W) and is very soft to wear, perfect for mid season weather. The trousers have a pleated front, extreme high waist with extra long zipper for closure. Two generous side pockets and welted back pockets. The trousers have a small change pocket in the front that closes with a button and strap to keep your pocket watch, car keys or other small items safe.

SIZING INFO:
The sizes are measurements of the waist in inches. To be sure please measure, jeans sizes or chino's are often sized differently, you made need to size up 1 or 2 sizes. When measuring the waist, make sure you measure high enough, just below the ribs is the right place. Take a tape measure or cord and pull it tight enough that it is comfortable. Or use a belt that you fasten to the right size and measure that to find the right size. Instructions on how to measure can be found here:

LENGTH:
The inseam of the trousers is 33 inch, that may seam short but corresponds with 36 inch jeans. There is also plenty of fabric in the turn ups. To lengthen or shorten ask for my blog for DIY or find a tailor near you to help. Usually they ask about €15 to €20 for it. Before shortening them, my advise is to wash them first. Though I test my fabrics on shrinkage, It might be different in a different machine, hardness of the water, different detergent etc. Always leave enough fabric to lengthen them if necessary.

Machine wash cold with mild detergent with similar colours
leave to dry, do not bleach, iron gently on low heat, preferably up side down with a towel underneath to avoid pressing flat the velvet
