A lithophane is a centuries-old art form where an image is rendered in thin porcelain. The magic happens when it's backlit: the varying thickness of the material allows light to pass through in different degrees, creating an astonishingly detailed, three-dimensional, and luminous image. More recently these have been achieved using 3D printing technology.

💡 How it works?
1) Choose your preferred size:
Small - 10cm cube - Unintrusive and ideal for smaller spaces, bedside tables and desks.
Medium - 12.5cm cube - Ideal for a side boards and coffee tables.
Large - 15cm cube - Another ideal solution for side boards and coffee tables.
Extra Large - 20cm cube - A statement piece designed to be a stand out centrepiece.

2) Select your top plate to finish your cube - Plain; Personalised or Stock Message; Additional Top Photo.

3) If requesting a Personalised or Stock Message enter your text in the personalisation box. If selecting a Plain top or Additional photo this can be left blank.

4) Place your order and send us your favourite high-resolution images via the Etsy message feature, if necessary we will crop and model the photos onto the cube, ensuring you are happy with the results before printing. Once confirmed we aim to have all orders printed and dispatched within 3 working days.

5) Receive your order and plug it in to a USB socket (Laptop, Games Console etc) or mains plug (using the plug socket supplied) and enjoy!
