FPV Scanner Module (iOS, Android and Windows)

FPV Scanner is a 5.8Ghz scanner for the FPV community that shows you which video channels are being used (with historical timeline), and which are open. Choose your video transmitter (DJI, Walksnail, HDZero, Analog, etc), let the module sniff and analyze those channels, and see it live on your phone or computer. The module keeps track of the history data, so you can turn on and off the phone or app and still see accurate data.

This small module gets power from standard USB-C and connects to our fully functional free app (iOS, Android and Windows) via Bluetooth BLE.

Free firmware and app updates will be provided for enhancements, and to add new VTXs as they come out. The module can be updated automatically through the app with no risk of bricking (multi partition safety).

To use:
Simply plug the module into any USB power source (could be a wall adapter or your phone). Install the app and pair with the module once with one click (do not go to your Bluetooth settings, use the app to pair). From then on you'll be taken to the scanner page when you run the app and the module is powered on.

- The module keeps a rolling 10 minute history of detected frequencies.
- Optionally have the app alert you if someone (or noise) is detected on certain channels (for example, your own).
- View 5.8Ghz Wi-fi channels to detect conflicts.
- 5V USB power to module. Short USB-C cable provided, but we do not include a USB power supply.
- App will notify of firmware updates and provides a wizard to allow for auto updates through a Wi-Fi connection.

* Note: your device must support Bluetooth. Any phone or tablet built since 2012 should just work. However, if using the Windows app on desktop you may need a separate Bluetooth dongle (most newer laptops support Bluetooth).

Troubleshooting:
"Pairing" is a bit of a misnomer for our BLE setup. The module will connect to any device that asks first. However, you need to choose to connect to the device in the app. Once connected, the app remembers that module for auto connection next time. Disconnecting causes the app to forget and forces a re-scan.

The main issue you may come across is that the module will only connect to one device at a time. If you have trouble connecting to a module that is powered up and within range, then likely it is still connected to one of your other devices. No need to disconnect/unpair on the other device, just force close the app.

Each module has a unique BLE address, so you can use multiple module/ device configurations in the same location.
