This listing is for a vintage Japanese furoshiki - a very handy, sturdy, multi-use wrapping cloth used in Japan. A folded furoshiki can also be easily carried in a purse or backpack to provide a makeshift carrier for groceries or purchases.

This vibrant furoshiki has a classic feel with four traditional Japanese patterns arranged like a perfectly balanced quilt block. Each quadrant showcases a different motif, including asanoha (star hemp), basketweave, and seigaiha waves. The combination creates a lively textile full of character and nostalgia.
