Sterling Silver Open Chain with Loops for Carabiner. Genuine .925 Sterling Silver Petite Trombone Chain with optional solid Sterling Silver Carabiner Clasp.

This carabiner necklace features a dainty Victorian-inspired old world chain with loops/jump rings to accommodate a carabiner lock. This silver carabiner chain style is often referred to as a Trombone Chain, Albert Chain, Antique Watch Chain, Long and Short Chain, or Fancy Mixed Paperclip Chain. Both the chain and loops/jump rings on the ends of chain are genuine solid sterling silver. Pair the chain with your choice of three different carabiner clasp styles, all of which are made of genuine solid sterling silver. Our carabiners are fully functional, serving as both a front-facing clasp for the necklace and a charm holder. Charms not included.

Materials and Measurements:

Genuine .925 sterling silver chain, findings, and carabiner clasps. The larger oblong chain links measure approximately 6.6mm x 2.2mm, and the smaller round chain links measure approximately 2.4mm. The external diameter of the jump rings at the end of the chain measure approximately 8mm (if the chain is purchased without a clasp), or 6mm (if the chain is purchased with an accompanying clasp).

The length of the necklace (whether you purchase only the chain, or the chain with a clasp) corresponds to the total measurement of the chain end-to-end, including the jump rings. Any clasp purchased with the chain is not included in the length measurement.

Oblong carabiner with screw closure (clasp I) measures approx. 18x9mm. Oblong carabiner with push gate closure (clasp H) measures approx. 17x9mm. Circle carabiner charm enhancer with push gate closure (clasp F) measures approx. 14mm. All clasps are hallmarked 925.

Each order ships beautifully packaged in an elegant gift box, with a soft pouch and cleaning cloth.

Our jewelry is handmade to order and most designs can be customized upon request. We do NOT use any flash plated base metal components in our designs. We ONLY use fine and demi-fine metals (solid gold, gold filled, gold vermeil, and sterling silver), as our pieces are meant to last many years with proper care.

Returns/Exchanges/Damage:
We accept returns of unworn, new items within 7 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for cost of return shipping (including insurance and tracking). Return package must be postmarked within 7 calendar days of original shipment's delivery date. Item must be in new, unused condition, and must be returned with all original, undamaged packaging (including jewelry box, pouch, and cleaning cloth). Buyer is responsible for any loss in value if item is not returned in the aforementioned condition. All customized items are final sale.

If the buyer would prefer to exchange a non-custom item for another item in our shop, we will happily process one exchange for that item and provide free standard shipping for the exchange. The exchange will be processed by applying the original amount paid by the buyer to the current selling price of the new item selected from our shop. The buyer is responsible for returning the original item in unused condition with all materials included, in the manner described above for returns. Once we receive the item and confirm that it meets the aforementioned criteria for a return, we will immediately process the exchange. Shipping for the exchange shall be complimentary.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to discuss a resolution. Damage resulting from misuse by the customer, rather than from a design or manufacturing defect, shall be the customer's responsibility (and any replacement/repair cost shall be borne by the customer in such circumstances).
