THE ANN - Romantic Era Bonnet (Ready to wear)

Make a bold statement with this beautiful, large brimmed Romantic era bonnet. Inspired by fashion plates from the early 1830's, it is built over a hand wired buckram frame and tied with broad ribbons.

This particular version is part of my luxury, Ready to Wear range. It is covered in smooth, pure silk taffeta with matching, gathered pure silk habotai on the under brim. The trim comprises pure silk, handmade ribbon from iconic maker, Papilionaceous Ribbons, with handmade rosettes, antique velvet flowers plus delicate coq feathers.

This style sits further back on the head to allow or an abundance of curls at the front and has a small crown that sits over the piled high hair. The ribbons will secure it but you may wish to use a hat pin for extra security and comfort. One size fits all.
