This afghan is hand crocheted, not a machine. It is a shell stitch pattern my grandmother taught me which is very durable and easy to care for. Just throw it in the washer and dryer, and it come out looking new. it has already been washed in Dreft and dried without fabric softener. I send care instructions in the box when purchased. It is made using a super soft multi pastel baby yarn. It makes a beautiful baby shower or new baby gift. Affordable and will fit any room in the home, including the nursery. So beautiful, and practical. The entire family will use it for years to come. We have several in our own living room and Harlow the wonder dog loves the one I made for him.
