This handmade brass wall reading lamp is designed for durability, safety, and everyday comfort.
Crafted entirely from solid brass, it features a high-quality Italian-made ribbed (coiled) gooseneck flexible arm engineered for smooth movement and long-term reliability.
Unlike lower-cost wall lamps that use iron or plated metal arms, this lamp is built fully from brass. Iron components are prone to corrosion, stiffness, and reduced flexibility — especially in humid environments — and may affect electrical reliability. Brass does not rust, remains structurally stable, and maintains consistent electrical performance, making it a superior material for lighting fixtures.
Rust affects current conductivity, which is why solid brass is preferred for long-term electrical safety.
The flexible arm bends smoothly and holds its position firmly without sagging. It allows precise light control for reading or focused task lighting — ideal for bedside use, sofas, or workspaces. The FLEX design works identically on both left and right installations, with no orientation adjustments required.
Each lamp is hand-finished in a matte brass finish, giving it a soft, understated appearance with reduced reflections. Subtle variations in tone and texture are part of its handmade character. Over time, unlacquered brass will naturally develop a gentle patina, adding depth and individuality to the finish.
Default finish: Natural unlacquered matte brass
Optional lacquer finish: Choose lacquered if you prefer the brass color to stay stable and avoid darkening.
