Comfort Colors uses the direct to garment style of dye, meaning the shirt is made first, and then it is dyed. This gives the shirt a vintage, weathered appearance, with lived-in rich colors inspired by nature. It's 100% cotton, and preshrunk, so you don't have to worry about it suddenly fitting a very small child. The cotton gets softer and softer after each wash.
