I really like this pattern and I think my 'grandcat' will enjoy it. I found it to be physically challenging though (thick yarn and tight crochet stitches)-maybe because I'm on the older side. I wish the video had been in English-I think I missed part of the instructions for connecting the rows.

The cat cave turned out very similar to the one shown online. If you haven't done the waistcoat stitch go on YouTube and watch it. It was much easier to do than shown in the video. Also, the cat in the picture must be very small because both of my adult male cats (one regular sized and one extra-large sized cats) would spill out of it. Overall, I might try it again.
