Vasart glass vase, early 1950s mid century modern, blue with multi-coloured flecks, 18.5 cm height, Monart interest

A 1950s Vasart hand blown glass vase with a blue upper body with multi-coloured flecks, and a bottom half in a very light mauve/pink (it's actually a difficult colour to describe but the photos give a good representation). It has a wide, flared opening. This is shape number VO42 (as can be seen here https://www.ysartglass.com/Vascat/VasV041.htm). It has the distinctive 'pontil stub' base finish which was used on Monart Glass pieces and carried on on some Vasart pieces.
Dimensions: Height of 18.5 cm or 7.3 inches. Opening has a diameter of 6.5 inches or 16.5 cm, which is also the vase's widest point.
Conditions: Excellent condition. There are a couple of tiny, barely noticeable, indentations (one on the main body, the other the rim), which are tool marks.
Additional Information: Monart Glass was manufactured from 1922 until about 1961 in Perth, Scotland for the Moncrieff glass factory. They quickly became known and prized for their distinctive looking mottled glass, often in two colours or tones. In 1946 Salvador Ysart and two of his sons, Vincent and Augustine, started their own glass factory Ysart Brothers Glass with the art glass branded Vasart. In 1965 the name was changed to Strathearn Glass. Monart and Vasart are now highly collectible.
