How are items packed and which carriers do you use?

All specimens are carefully packed to ensure safe arrival. Fragile or statement pieces are professionally double-boxed. Smaller or more durable specimens may ship in a single box. All orders include tracking. Orders are shipped via USPS. International orders are typically shipped using USPS Global (Advantage/Standard) or you could message me to upgrade, depending on item size and destination

Can I combine multiple items?

Shipping automatically adjusts for additional items where possible. Some large or fragile specimens must ship individually. Please check the listing details or message us for a custom shipping quote.

Do you offer shipping insurance?

Etsy Purchase Protection may apply to eligible orders. Additional shipping insurance is available upon request — please message us before purchase for a quote.

What if my item arrives damaged?

All orders ship with tracking and are carefully packed. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us promptly upon delivery with clear photos of the shipping label, outer box, internal packaging, and how the mineral was packed. Please do not discard packaging until the issue is resolved. Claims must be reported before the item is handled further.

Can I return a mineral?

USA returns: Natural mineral specimens are sensitive to handling and environmental exposure. Returns are accepted only if the item is returned in its original, unaltered condition. Items that have been cleaned, washed, exposed to direct sunlight, rubbed with oils, probed, or otherwise altered cannot be returned or refunded. Once a specimen has been handled beyond normal inspection or modified in any way, it is considered accepted and becomes the buyer’s responsibility.

Are minerals safe to handle?

Customers are encouraged to conduct their own research when purchasing minerals. Some specimens may contain lead or other potentially hazardous elements. Certain minerals may require handwashing after handling and should not be placed in the mouth or in water intended for consumption. Small crystals may pose a choking hazard and should be kept out of reach of children.

What about customs and import duties?

Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Etsy may collect VAT at checkout where required.

Do you accept international returns?

All international orders are final (EU, UK, Canada, Australia & other destinations). Due to the nature of mineral specimens as one-of-a-kind collector items, returns and cancellations are not accepted. This applies to all minerals and is disclosed prior to purchase in compliance with consumer protection laws for collectible and non-standard goods. Please review photos and descriptions carefully and reach out with any questions prior to purchase.

Are natural fractures or inclusions considered damage?

No. Each mineral is naturally formed and one-of-a-kind. Natural characteristics such as inclusions, healed fractures, pressure lines, internal growth patterns, cleavages, or contact points from mining may be present. These features are part of the specimen’s geological history, are visible in photos and videos, and are not considered damage.
