Welcome to My Shop! Dive into the abyss with us! We specialize in ethical taxidermy that reveals the hidden wonders of the deep sea. Each specimen is a real, tangible piece of natural history, prepared with care to bring a touch of the unknown to your collection.

From the Deep Abyss to Your Desk: A Real-Life "Alien" Meet the Bathynomus doederleinii—a creature that looks like it crawled straight out of a science fiction movie. Hailing from the icy, crushing depths of the ocean where sunlight never reaches, these ancient isopods are a testament to life's incredible adaptability.

Inspiration for Monsters? With its intricate segmented armor, prehistoric compound eyes, and many hooked legs, the Giant Isopod's eerie yet fascinating form has long stoked the human imagination. It's easy to see why creatures like this are often cited as real-world inspirations for iconic movie monsters, such as the "Facehugger" from the Alien franchise. Owning this specimen is like holding a piece of the raw, untamed creativity of nature that inspires our darkest sci-fi dreams.

The "Armored Tank" of the Ocean This is a fascinating relative of the common pill bug, but super-sized and adapted for the deep sea. Its exoskeleton is a marvel of biological engineering, designed to withstand immense pressure.

Why This Size is Special: Unlike the massive giants that require a huge shelf, this specimen is the perfect "handheld alien." It is approximately 8-10cm (3-4 inches) when flat, but can curl up into a compact ~5cm defensive ball, just like a pill bug! It’s the ultimate fidget-friendly specimen for your desk.

🌱 Ethical Sourcing Promise Respect for marine life is our priority. This specimen is a by-product of deep-sea fishing industries (often found in nets targeting other species). They are ethically sourced casualties that we reclaim and preserve. We give these incredible creatures a second life as educational art pieces, rather than letting them go to waste.
