Seller's description

Description

Bring a touch of magic to your tea table with this handmade pastel ceramic gaiwan, featuring a stunning reactive glaze that blends turquoise, lavender, jade green, and soft cloud-white in smooth watercolor transitions. This piece is crafted as functional art—each layer of glaze pooling, drifting, and blooming in unpredictable, ethereal patterns.

Artisan Inspiration

The color palette is inspired by the Aurora Borealis—the way gentle purples melt into dancing teal lights across a quiet northern sky. The flowing gradients and soft halos on the glaze mimic the appearance of moving aurora curtains, while the scattered white spots resemble snowflakes illuminated by polar glow.
Every gaiwan becomes its own tiny Aurora, captured in porcelain.
