It’s more narrow from front to back than I expected. I am not using this for sewing bobbins but rather for spools of chain and cording for jewelry making. It holds things really well. The little dowels are a tighter fit than I’d like but I haven’t had any problems getting them into the holes or having them stay in them thus far.
