the edges are unstitched but have a black border to avoid fraying, the design is printed in bright silver onto black fabric and is machine washable at 50 degrees centigrade.

I generally prefer embroidered stuff as they feel better quality but this is still great despite not being that. Beautiful design and easy to sew onto thick denim.
