These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from my Etsy shop Oddly Drawn Gifts (operated by Paula Hightower). By placing an order, you agree to the following:

1. Products & Descriptions

I take great care to ensure all product listings, images, and descriptions are accurate. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings. Each piece of artwork is created or printed to a high standard.

Custom and personalised items (including portraits and printed messages inside cards) are created based on the information you provide. Please double-check spellings and details before submitting.

2. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in your local currency as set by Etsy.
Payments are processed securely through Etsy Payments. I do not receive or store any card or banking information.

3. Order Processing Time

Processing times are shown on each listing. If there is ever a delay, I will contact you via Etsy Messages.

For custom artwork, additional communication may be required to complete your order.

4. Shipping

Orders are dispatched using the shipping method selected at checkout.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. If an item is returned due to an incorrect address, additional postage costs may apply for re-sending.

International buyers are responsible for any customs fees, import taxes, or postal delays caused by customs checks.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Your rights may vary depending on the type of item purchased.

Eligible items (non-custom):

Non-personalised greeting cards
Prints
Colouring books
Ready-made artwork

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping. A refund will be issued once the item is returned in its original condition.

Not eligible for return:

Custom or personalised orders
Digital downloads
Items made to your specification (e.g., custom portraits, cards with printed personalised messages)
Damage during transit must be reported within 7 days with photos so I can assist.
Order cancellations
Cancellations may be requested within 2 hours of purchase.
Once work has begun or the order has shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

6. Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, colouring pages, and designs in my shop are the original work of Paula Hightower.
You may not reproduce, resell, alter, or distribute my designs without written permission.

7. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR and EU GDPR standards.
I only use your information to fulfil orders and provide customer service.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU CUSTOMERS)

(as required under the EU Consumer Rights Directive)

EU customers have the legal right to withdraw from a distance-selling contract for eligible items within 14 days without giving a reason.

This section explains how it works in my shop.

1. Withdrawal Period

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive your order (or the last item in a multi-item order).

2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To withdraw from your order, you must notify me clearly via Etsy Messages.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw:

You must return the item(s) to me within 14 days of notifying me.
You are responsible for return postage costs.

I will refund the full purchase price (including the original shipping cost, if applicable) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods in original condition.

Refunds are processed via Etsy to the original payment method.

4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Your right does not apply to:

Custom-made or personalised items
Digital downloads where delivery begins immediately
Items that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons once unsealed (not typically relevant to your shop)

By ordering a custom or personalised item, you consent to the work beginning immediately and acknowledge that the legal right of withdrawal does not apply.

5. Condition of Returned Goods

You should handle items with reasonable care.
Deductions may be made for loss of value if returned items are damaged or show signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
