Based on the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska's Prince William Sound in 1989, this historical fiction picture book tells the story of a young girl who helps rescue a baby seal affected by the polluted water. Follow the little guy's progress as he recovers at an animal hospital and is eventually released back into the wild. A great way to help your kiddo see the impact they can have on helping animals!

This is a 1990s ex-library hardcover. Pages show mild reading wear, binding solid. Library card pocket, stamps and stickers present. Mild wear to cover edges, a few tiny dents in the bottom corner of front cover. A sturdy copy with years of enjoyment left in it.
