Highlights
Wonderful 1950s embellished cashmere cardigan by Stella Wanfrid. Soft shell pink cashmere cardigan with charming hand embellished details including darling crocheted pink trim and appliquéd crocheted ribbon fruit. 1950s shape with a short cropped length and small waist. Pearl-like buttons. Very sweet sweater by a hard to find and collectible designer.
Good vintage condition but with three small spots on the back of the right sleeve that are shown with scissors in last photo and some mild soiling to some area on the crocheted fruit. This presents very well and looks adorable when worn.
I estimate that this is a size small, but please use the measurements to ensure a proper fit. It is best to measure a sweater that fits you and compare it to the following measurements that were taken with the sweater flat on a table and buttoned.
Armpit to armpit is 19.25".
Across the hem from side to side is 13".
Length from top of the shoulder to the bottom edge of the sweater is 19".
Sleeve length from the shoulder at the seam is 23" while uncuffed. When cuffed it is 21".
