Vintage Mexican Onyx Ashtray | Small Pink & Beige Checkered Stone Trinket/Ring Dish

A charming vintage Mexican onyx ashtray featuring a soft pink and warm beige checkered stone pattern. Hand-carved from natural onyx and polished to a glossy finish, this petite piece has beautiful translucency and organic veining throughout.

Marked “Mexico” on the underside, this ashtray was likely produced in Mexico in the mid–late 20th century, when carved stone souvenir and décor pieces were popular. While originally made as an ashtray, it also works beautifully as a trinket dish, jewelry catchall, incense holder, or small decorative accent.

Each square of onyx varies slightly in tone and veining, giving it a lovely patchwork effect that feels both playful and timeless.
