Timbersilk Fragrance Molecule: Silky Woody-Amber Profile – IFF Origin

Timbersilk is a woody-amber fragrance molecule belonging to the same family as Iso E Super. In essence, it represents the same concept of a transparent woody structure, but realized with a different balance of tone and behavior in a composition. The material is built as an isomeric mixture, which results in a smoother, more even and stable olfactory performance over time.

Compared to Iso E Super, Timbersilk smells denser and calmer. While Iso E Super is known for its “appearing–disappearing” effect, Timbersilk unfolds in a more continuous manner, without abrupt gaps in perception. Its woody facet is less dry and less sharp, with a clearly silky texture and a warm amber undertone. Overall, the scent feels soft, rounded and bodily, with a well-assembled and coherent background.

In perfumery formulas, Timbersilk does not act as a dominant standalone note, but rather as an architectural element. All parcels are sent via the German postal carriers DHL or Deutsche Post with a tracking number provided. Once your order ships, you will receive the tracking number and can follow your parcel.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the recipient's absence, or failure to collect it from the post office in time, we do not re-ship the same order. The cost of the item is refunded; a new shipment requires placing the order again.

If a buyer cancels an order that has already been shipped, the cost of the item is refunded once the item has been returned to us. Shipping costs are not refunded in this case.

For any return, the cost of the item is refunded. Shipping costs (both outbound and return postage), as well as any taxes and customs duties, are non-refundable.

If the sealed packaging has been opened, the item may not be eligible for return for reasons of hygiene (§ 312g (2) no. 3 of the German Civil Code, BGB). This applies to opened, used, or partially consumed materials. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
