Why are shipping charges high on certain items?

Our shipping charges are based strictly on the item dimensions, weight, and distance from us here outside of Pittsburgh, PA as set by USPS. We do not add any hidden packing or handling charges. So while an item may be lightweight, it could be awkwardly sized which drives up the charges. There are times that we are able to ship for less via FedEx. Please contact us for more details.

Why did my order arrive in an old box?

We try to reuse shipping boxes and packaging materials wherever possible! As a shop that sells vintage, and upcycled items, we are concerned with the environment and do our part to reduce, reuse, and recycle!

Do you take custom orders or orders for large quantities of your handmade items?

As a very small operation, my dad makes each of our handcrafted items individually. It is difficult for him to take on custom orders, or large orders without affecting his ability to keep us in stock of our usual items. So at this time, we do not take custom requests and cannot accommodate orders for large numbers of a particular item.
