ANTIQUE Silver Rainbow Cloud Brooch with Mississippi Tennessee River Natural Pearl Rain Drops

This Arts and Crafts movement brooch was made circa 1900. The metal is tested and guaranteed 925 sterling silver, but the piece is unstamped and unsigned. The brooch features a nebulous swirling cloud with hand set rainbow colored gems (untested) and natural river pearl raindrop dangles. If you are unfamiliar with American river pearls, aka Mississippi River pearls or Tennessee River pearls, please give them a search. They are one of the rarest gems on earth, a natural, wild found pearl. Most pearls on the market are cultured pearls, made by people. These pearls are wild pearls, found by people. They are rare and wonderful. The brooch measures 1.5 x 1.5 inches including the drops. Though it is unsigned, it is in the style of the highly collectible Carl Schon, who was a notable silversmith known for his Arts & Crafts style jewelry, primarily working in Baltimore, Maryland from the late 1890s until his death in 1923. This is a weird and wonderful wearable piece of art.
