Highlights
This is an artist signed traditional Norwegian rosemaling wall hanging. Rhoda Fristch was an acclaimed Norwegian/American folk artist who hailed from Northern Illinois. The piece is 21"X 13"" and the traditional Sandinavian scroll pattern is painted upon a deep red background with the central image of a young couple in folk attire.. It is framed off by lovely cherry stained wood and is meant to be hung. The hanging gives off a warm, welcoming vibe an would be great over a fireplace, in a library, sitting room or somewhere in the kitchen. This piece is used and in near excellent condition.
