Carry your firepower the classic way with our handcrafted leather ammo bandolier, designed for .357, .38, and 9mm caliber rounds. Built for both function and tradition, this ambidextrous rifle sling holds approximately 56 rounds in secure, precision-cut loops across 32 inches of smooth-backed, tooled leather. With a total length of approximately 54 inches, it fits comfortably across the body or over the shoulder—perfect for long days on the range or out in the field.

Part of the Southern Bay line by Desert Leatherworks, each bandolier is individually handmade using full grain leather and fully lined smooth leather backed, for all-day comfort and durability. This model features a richly detailed two-tone brown & tan tooled leather finish, blending rugged utility with traditional Western style. Because every piece is crafted by hand and natural hides vary, the bandolier you receive will be unique—similar in quality and style to the photos shown, but truly one of a kind.

MORE LOOPS:

In the past we have had many questions about putting more Loops on for various sized cartridges.
Typically we add (60) loops for the larger shotgun sizes. (12, 16, 20, 28). We can put more of the smaller sizes on though. Please see the EXCEPTIONS List below to see if more will really fit.

Some of you have noticed that we are in the middle of a revision to the listing.
We think we now have a correction worked out.

If you want one of the EXCEPTIONS that are listed below, then we will need to make a custom length for you so that we can add more loops.

For instance, if you wanted 60 loops put on for the 500 S&W, we would need to make it longer. We would also need to quote a price for the additional leather involved and for the extra Loops.
If you happen to be over 6 ft in height and want the belt to hit around the hip area, the added custom length would come in handy.

To make the custom belts for one of the EXCEPTIONS, we would like to suggest that you take a string or piece of rope and drape it over your shoulder and across your chest and down to your hip to see what length you need.

Can be ordered in either Natural Oil Dipped, Black, Dark Brown or Russet leather. See Options list.

NATURAL COLOR LEATHER: (Oil Dipped)
Normally is a cream to beige color after its been cured and processed. After we make your Bandolier we dip it into bath of Saddle Oil. That gives it the rich brown color.
The natural color of the leather, with the oil, will lighten in time will need to be retreated.

BLACK, RUSSET AND DARK BROWN:
These high quality and more expensive leathers that can be kept soft with an application of Leather or Saddle Oil.

All of our belts feature NO scraps or pressed leather and no layering of plastic or synthetic sewn on to meet the requirement to be able to call it real leather.

SHIPPING:
Because of the length of the belt and number of cartridge loops, the shipping cost is a little more than the work or dress belts. We have tried coiling up the Bandolier belts and it will not fit into the the Padded Flat Rate Envelope. So it goes into the Regional Box category. Normally 1 Bandolier belt will fit into a Regional ratebox.

We expect the shipping time on these custom made items to be 4 to 5 days
If the shipping seems excessive we will combine orders/items and credit the difference back to your account. For instance if you order more than one bandolier we can combine them into a larger cheaper carton selection and then credit back the excess shipping.
