Timeless and unmistakably classic, these authentic vintage mules by Etienne Aigner date confidently to the early–mid 1980s (circa 1982–1986). Crafted in rich burgundy signature calfskin leather, this elegant slip-on style features a rounded open toe, structured leather footbed, and the iconic gold Aigner “A” logo hardware at the vamp. Size is 6.5 N.

The design reflects Etienne Aigner’s hallmark aesthetic of the era—luxurious materials, refined simplicity, and effortless wearability. The substantial leather construction and classic mule silhouette are characteristic of early-1980s footwear, prior to later minimalist cost-cutting trends.

Partial (bottom) original Etienne Aigner shoe box is included, featuring period-correct logo graphics and a leather designation label marked “SIG-CALF.” A handwritten date of 8/2/83 appears on the box, strongly supporting the early-1980s dating and enhancing collector appeal.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use, including natural creasing to leather and wear to soles (see photos). Leather remains supple and structurally sound. They need new heel taps.
