EU/EEA Right to Withdraw (14‑day cooling‑off period)

This section applies to buyers located in the European Union or European Economic Area purchasing from my shop as consumers (not businesses). It implements the 14‑day “right of withdrawal” set out in Directive 2011/83/EU (the “Consumer Rights Directive”). Etsy also reflects this requirement in its seller rules.

1) Your withdrawal period
• You have 14 days from the day you (or a person you nominate) receives the goods to cancel for any reason. For split deliveries, the 14 days runs from receipt of the last item.

2) How to exercise the right
• Tell me clearly that you want to withdraw within the 14‑day period. You can (a) send me an Etsy Message, or (b) email/post the Model Withdrawal Form at the end of this policy. You don’t need to give a reason.

3) What happens after you withdraw
• I will refund all payments received from you, including the standard (cheapest) delivery cost, within 14 days of being informed of your decision.
• I may withhold the refund until I have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
• Refunds are made using the same payment method you used unless we agree otherwise. You won’t pay any fees for the refund.
• If you chose a more expensive delivery option than my standard delivery, I do not refund the supplementary cost.

4) Returning goods
• Please send the goods back no later than 14 days after you notified me of the withdrawal.
• You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping, unless I explicitly offered to cover it.
• You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

5) Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
• The 14‑day right does not apply to (among others):
• Custom or personalised orders made to your specifications.
These exceptions follow Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU and Etsy’s Seller Policy.

6) Defective / not‑as‑described items
• Your statutory rights regarding faulty or mis‑described goods (including repair, replacement or refund) remain unaffected.
