Hey all Today we have a bit of 1972 in the house- the original Spiro Agnew watch from the "Dirty Time Co." Not much to say but this is totally making fun of him: accused of extortion, bribery and kickbacks who resigned after pleading to tax evasion. WHo would have thought there would be such a criminal in the position of Vice President.

Inside we have a BFG 866, a pretty standard cheap movement from the 70's. This one has been taken apart, fully serviced, and is running great. The amplitude is up between 270º to 300º. Real strong for its age.

The case is cheaply plated base metal, and is in great shape. The original cross-hatching on the front is still sharp. The plating is still there.

I replaced the original cracked crystal with a brand new and put the whole thing on a red-white-blue 2 piece nylon strap.

There are a few of these on eBay and Etsy, and the prices are all over the place. (Yes there's one in the original box- but it's not been serviced.)
This one is fully fixed up and serviced and will work great for years to come.
