🕯️CANDLE BURNING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS: 🕯️

BEFORE EACH BURN
- Trim wick to 5 mm (1/4") before lighting
- Place candle on a heat-resistant surface
- Keep away from drafts, children, and pets

DURING BURNING
- For the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges (helps prevent tunneling)
- Do not burn longer than 3–4 hours at a time
- Keep wick centered for an even melt pool

COTTON WICK CARE
- Trim regularly to reduce smoke/soot
- If flame becomes too large, extinguish, let cool, then trim and relight

WOOD WICK CARE
- Keep wick upright and remove loose/blackened char before lighting
- If flame goes out, trim off the burned edge, pour out any loose debris, and relight
- Wood wicks may take a moment to establish a steady flame — this is normal

EXTINGUISHING
- Use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into melted wax, then straighten it
- Avoid blowing out to reduce smoke

SAFETY
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Stop using when 10–12 mm (1/2") of wax remains
- Let candle cool completely before moving
