This old hymnal and prayer book dates from 1888 and has been carefully preserved for generations. Until recently, it remained in a private collection and originally belonged to the family's grandmother. Its long history is palpable – it is not a decorative object "of today," but an authentic piece from a bygone era.

Objective description of the condition (transparent & honest)
Original print from 1888
Cover in a dark tone with metal/brass fittings.
Gold embossing present on the front, but damaged and partially fixed with adhesive tape.
Signs of age and wear present
The binding is still stable on the inside, but has loosened in places due to age.
Pages with beautiful yellowing/patina
Handwritten entries from that period are present.
