💚 The Story Behind the Design
I have always been fascinated by the romantic pink that dry red wine can create on silk. Red wine is naturally rich in tannins, and when used in natural dyeing, it gives mulberry silk a soft, warm pink that I find truly unique.

My husband used to work as a wine retailer and often organized wine tastings. There would sometimes be wine left over after these events, and I didn’t want it to go to waste. So I began experimenting with the leftover wine as a natural dye.

I loved what happened on silk.

Instead of a bright or sugary pink, the wine created a quiet, slightly muted shade — soft, warm, and different every time.

For this scarf, I combined rose leaves with coin eucalyptus leaves through botanical eco printing. The eucalyptus creates warm orange-red impressions against the soft wine-dyed background, bringing light and depth to the gentle pink tones.

The scarf is made from mulberry silk satin, a beautifully soft fabric with a natural sheen. At 90 × 90 cm, it can be worn in many different ways — loosely around the neck, tied at the shoulder, draped over the body, or styled in your own way. Each fold reveals a different part of the botanical composition and a different combination of colors.

Every leaf is placed by hand and every piece responds individually to the natural dyeing and eco-printing process, this scarf is one of a kind.
