All Bins have the option to be printed with a tab that can be used to affix a label for organization. In the case of non-symmetrical Bins, the tab can be requested to be printed parallel to the longer edge or the shorter edge. All label tabs will be aligned with the corner of the Bin.

All Bins feature a stackable lip that acts similarly to the baseplate. This allows each Bin to be organized vertically and stacked atop each other however you please. All of our Bins are the same height so they will perfectly support one another.

Thanks to the modularity of the Bins, you can mix and match any number of sizes and rotate or stack them however you see fit to meet your use case perfectly! Once you have found your ideal arrangement, you can rest assured that every Bin will stay firmly attached to the baseplate thanks to the strong magnetic force of the Neodymium magnets. Non-magnetic Bins and Baseplates tend to bump themselves out of the grid when jostled in situations like the opening of a drawer or being brushed against when removing an adjacent Bin, but not these! Each Bin stays put, but can also be easily removed without excessive force. Once you are ready to put your Bins away, you will only need to bring them close to their intended destination and they will automatically pop themselves into place, perfectly aligned.

All Bins follow standard Gridfinity specifications. The height of each bin is 39mm.

The amount of magnets used in each Bin will depend on the total number of cells in the Bin. A 5x5 Bin will have 25 total cells, 5 wide by 5 long, but it is not necessary to install magnets in every cell to achieve strong baseplate adhesion and rigidity. For this reason, we install magnets on only the necessary cells in order to keep prices as low as possible and minimize waste. Each cell that has magnets installed will have 4 magnets. For example, a single cell 1x1 Bin will be completely filled with magnets in all available slots. A 3x3 9 cell Bin will only have magnets installed in the 4 corners (a total of 16 magnets). A 25 cell 5x5 Bin will have magnets installed on 8 of the cells; the four corners and 4 cells in the center arranged symmetrically.

USE CAUTION when ordering Magnetic Gridfinity Bins or Baseplates from different sources, as you may end up with Bins or Baseplates that do not have compatible polarity (ie, the baseplate's magnetic force repels the bins). All of our Bins and Baseplate will have compatible magnetic polarity. The Directional Polarity of the magnets used in our Bins and Baseplates will be consistent no matter how many you order or what color you choose. This is also true for separate orders. The Bins and Baseplates we produce will always have the same matching compatible magnetic polarity.
