* STORY / INSPIRATION OF THIS PAINTING *
The Betta fish stirs the memory of the ancient Warrior Archetype—a sacred force within the soul. This warrior does not rise from ego or conquest, but moves in quiet devotion: to defend love, uphold peace, honour justice, and protect what is holy and life-giving on this Earth.
While painting this piece, I had not yet chosen a title. After the final brushstroke, something revealed itself—like a flower blooming in a woman’s hair—and gave the work its name: *We Were Born to Bloom*.
Life can be harsh; many of us struggle simply to survive. Yet we are still meant to bloom. How, when survival feels like a battle? Perhaps through surrender—trusting what cannot be seen. Even in the darkest soil, a seed remembers the light.
We are called to let our light shine—because it is our nature. A flower blooms not in comparison, It does not wonder whether it will be plucked or left to fade. It simply blooms. Its power is brief yet profound. May this piece serve as a gentle reminder of that truth.
