Highlights
A beautiful antique French ladies chemiser, entirely handmade circa 1910s. It's in pure white cotton and features pintuck pleats and handmade lace. The front and neck are frilled - the front frill is designed to hide the button closure which could almost be regarded as a pity because the buttons are so beautiful you may not want to hide them! The small initials EB are embroidered in tiny red cross-stitch inside the bottom front hem.
This is a beautifully made item of clothing, hand sewn with care and attention to details such as the flat-fell seams.
This blouse is freshly laundered and pressed, ready to wear. It is in excellent condition.
It's small - medium in size - measurements with the blouse laid flat are:
Shoulder seam to seam: 39 cm / 15.5"
Chest (pit to pit): 47 cm / 18.5"
Length from nape of neck: 56 cm / 22"
Sleeve length: 48 cm / 19" from top of shoulder
