This is a printable pottery template to make a pour-over coffee dripper set. The template arrives to you in a PDF format, which you can download immediately after purchase.
The template needs to be printed after it is downloaded. You can print it on a regular domestic printer. It’s designed to be printed on an A4 or letter-sized printer.
The PDF contains a template for making the coffee jug (also known as a coffee carafe) and the coffee dripper that fits on top of the coffee jug, filtering your coffee.
The template can be printed off in different sizes, so you can adjust the size of the template to suit your preference.
When the template is printed at its original size on A4 paper, the coffee jug has the following dimensions…
COFFEE JUG DIMENSIONS:
Height: 11 cm
Width of base: 10 cm
Width of rim: 7 cm
Capacity: 350ml (12.3 fluid ounces)
COFFEE DRIPPER DIMENSIONS:
Height: 7.5 cm
Width of top rim: 11 cm
I find that the best size filters for this coffee dripper are size 2.
The final measurements of your pour-over coffee dripper set can vary. Factors that affect the final size include:
1) The type of clay used
2) The shrinkage rate of the clay
3) The temperature you fire at
The set needs to be made from pottery clay and fired in a pottery kiln. Air-dry clay is not water-tight or food-safe.
